Nail Trims

In-store nail cutting for your Guinea or Rabbit.  $10 per session.   Please call the store ahead and we can help you maintain your pet's nails healthy.

It's super important to keep guinea pig and rabbit nails trimmed! Here's why:

• Comfort and Movement:

  • Long nails can make it hard for them to walk properly. They can curl under their paws, which is uncomfortable and even painful.  

  • Imagine trying to walk with really long, curved fingernails – it wouldn't be fun!

• Preventing Injuries:

  • Overgrown nails can easily get caught on things like bedding or carpet. This can lead to torn nails, which are painful and can get infected.  

  • If the nails grow too long they can even grow back into the animals paw pads, causing serious injury and infection.

• Avoiding Infections:

  • When nails curl and dig into their paws, they can create wounds that are vulnerable to infections.  

• Healthy Feet:

  • Proper nail trimming helps keep their feet healthy and strong, allowing them to move around and play comfortably.

Think of it like us needing to trim our own fingernails – it's just part of keeping healthy and happy!

Pet Sitting

We can look after your furry friends right here in our store while you're on vacation! We'll take good care of them, just like you do at home. You can relax knowing they're safe with us. We can take care of rabbits and guinea pigs, and we're officially allowed to look after pets while their owners are away.
